JUSSI VESTERINEN
Jussi Vesterinen graduated in 2002 from the Helsinki University of Technology. His field of specialisation is software and telecommunications, and he wrote his master’s thesis about admission control in WCDMA networks. After graduation he worked as a researcher in the communications laboratory of the Helsinki University of Technology, and published two scientific papers. While still in Finland in 2003, he joined the intellectual property department of Nokia, and in 2004 he joined the intellectual property department of the same company in the UK.
In 2006 he moved to Paris, where he worked for three years in one of the largest IP firms in France, and he dealt primarily with inventions in the field of electronics. In 2007 he qualified as a European patent attorney. He also successfully followed the accelerated CEIPI Tuition, patents module, in Strasbourg from September 2007 to June 2008.
In 2009 he moved to Berne, where he worked in two IP firms as a patent attorney before founding LUMI IP. In 2012 he became one of the first three people to pass the Swiss qualifying examination for patent attorneys.

In 2009 he moved to Berne where he worked in two IP firms as a patent attorney before founding LUMI IP. In 2012 he became one of the first three people to pass the Swiss qualifying examination for patent attorneys.
